I have used Wilshers (Peter Baldwin) near Wimpole, but the rolling road there has closed. Peter is now at
www.regency-autos.co.uk in Cambridge, his son runs the rolling road under Peter's tutelage. Nothing but praise for his work on my 1980 Morgan +8, 4L 290bhp. He only used to work on carburetted cars.

Try contacting the MG owners club.

Its the sort of organisation that would keep list of places who still look after SU's.

Or, a local (to you) restorations specialist.

Pete was a carb tuning genius back in the day, so if he's trained his lad to be anywhere near as good then well worth a try, given he's in the area you are looking for.

Had about 4 different cars tuned by Pete back in the day when he used to operate out of Marshall's of Cambridge.

Mass Racing in Great Gransden.

Done plenty of my race engines, including SU’s.

I can recommend Revivals in Thriplow. They do a lot of classic British cars and are very knowledgeable. You want Richard working on your car;; proper old school. Mechanic.

Many thanks - I've had several positive reviews for this guy, and am booked in for next week.

Has anyone here actually had any work done by his son- is Pete still active/overseeing things?

Pete must be 80 odd now......I'm sure he was in his early/mid 40's when I used to use his RR at Marshall's in the mid 80's...........!
