A quick thanks to Mark Adams for putting a chip and tunning my car yesterday. Soooo much better and more user friendly. Didn't realise exactly how much until I got onto familiar roads here in Devon.
Also, a really interesting day with lots learned thanks to Mark, a really decent and humble chap...Cheers!

So what exactly has this chip and tune done?

Any details would be appreciated as I may well be up for some mods very soon.

Rolling road session to see where enigine and electrics are.
Mark plugs in his PC to the ECU and puts in a tornado chip.
Then adjustments are made to the chip to get car up to optimum perfomance/your requests.
Rolling road session to test it all out, mine gained about 20BHP and even more massive torque over a curve from 2,000rpm all the way to 6,000 rpm.

Feels cleaner to drive, crisper and def more power.
I had an MC2 cam in and it was lumpy before and about 60% of this has gone at low revs.

Any niggles are sorted out too....my throttle pot was blipping on and off a bit so replaced that too.

If it's not a rude question how much did it cost?

Chip was £350. Marks Labour £150. Rolling road, krypton etc. and other mechanics labour (Brian, nice chap, eats biscuits all the time) £350. Throttle pot £38. So all in with VAT about a grand. A lot I know.

Hmmm, for a little bit more I might be able to afford the 500 after all
