Due to having booked a holiday at Centreparcs with my daughter in the lake district at the same as the BBWF Its a no-go for me (bad planning I know) :(

But with mucho buttering up and sweet talking it looks like I may have a day pass out of Stalag Centreparcs to attened the Hexham Horseless carriages track day at croft on the 27th as consolation.

Anyone done this track day? Any good?

Though not in a Tiv, I enjoyed it a lot when there

Some high speed corners with a slower more technical infield, bit flat though

Marshals were very good

Thanks David,
I like the look of the track and fancy it but the £199 for the day is putting me off a bit. I'm trying to get an idea if it's value for money.

Any of the north East wedgers done/doing it?

I've raced the wedge at croft a few times ( and crashed it at tower )

Croft is an awesome circuit. one of my favourites... but then i like cadwell as well.

There is reasonable run off at most places as well, so a bit of room to collect things up if you get it wrong.

I'd say go for it....

Pat Smith sometimes takes his tas racer ( 2ltr turbo) to the hhc track days up there

Cheers Graham,

Doubt I'll be as fast as "Topless Tas" in my boggy stock 350 but I think I'll be giving it a go......

It'll be a big difference to the tight and twisty "up and down hills" knockhill I'd guess...
