DSG launch control
Discussion
I think all DSG's have it as standard feature on the 'box. You need to have traction control off, put the gearbox in S, left foot on the brake, right foot hard down on the accelerator, let the revs build up and then foot off the brake.
My Scirocco did this but my Leon has an more "official" launch control program, if you like. The build up noise is much more loud and savage and i think a light activates on the dash to show. So, i think there's a difference between having it on the gearbox and having it properly programmed into the car from factory. I think the end-result is near enough the same though.

I think it's a different procedure for the BiTDi. My Scirocco did this but my Leon has an more "official" launch control program, if you like. Shift into Neutral.
Turn off auto-hold, traction control and start stop.
Put into Dynamic mode.
Shift into S1.
Left foot hard on brake.
Right foot down on the accelerator and release your foot off the brakes within 5 seconds.
TVS were the 1st people I tried, went for a stage 2+ with drivability map and they were unable to activate it plus there software made no difference to the original VW software, no launch control and didn't fix the 2nd gear clutch slip known issue with the DQ500 box so they gave me a refund
