Didn't phatgixer have a problem doing this with his car? Did he sort it out?

Dont think he had a problem with the delimiting, I think the problem was with the extra power he liberated although I could of course be wrong. I was once.

I think the problem he had on the last VMAX was a knackered air pressure sensor which kept his top speed down to a piffling 175

Looking forward to having a go in the CSL at VMAX Phil (assuming you havent already sold it by then )

I know the SL65 was not running at full whack at the last VMAX, but when PG was trying to get the limiter lifted on his CSL I think they had a problem getting the car to work on a rolling road. I'm probably talking crap, but try giving PG an email.

Do you want this thread moved to the BMW forum where you may get a more knowledgeable response?

Cheers guys, I spoke to amd earlier (please excuse moron non tech me) & they can fit something that tricks the car into thinking it's going slower than it is. Also it can be removed each time it goes to the dealer so no warranty probs. Just not sure whether it's worth spending £400 on it

I'll also try posting it on bm3w doh

DMS who I have been speaking to can make it undetectable by main dealer so no messing about before dealer trip.
