VW Extended Warranty past 10 years?

[Tommie38]

Has anybody had any luck with an approved VW warranty post 10 years?

This is the ‘insurewithvolkswagen’ warranty that is available annually or on a monthly subscription basis, via direct debit.

For BMW, IIRC, the approved warranty could run past 10 years if you had the monthly arrangement. Is that the case with VW?

Why would you need a VW warranty on a 10 year old VW car? I personally would save the money and carry out repairs at a good independent garage

Which ten year old VW do you want to stick a warranty on?
