I rarely get sunburnt, I have skin that tans easily and am careful with suncream. Im 40 and can count on 1 hand how many times I've been burnt and still have some fingers left. Last week on holiday was down on the beach with the kids, it started off misty, I put sunscreen on my arms and legs, was planning on wearing a wetsuit in the sea but it was too warm so went in shorts, then the sun came out when we were in the sea.
Anyway I ended up getting bad sunburn. It peeled after a couple of days. But now the area is covered with painful spots. Not pus filled just itchy red spots.
Is this normal? I've been putting aftersun on few times a day. Anything else I can do? They are irritating me.
