Id rather hoped we've moved on from judging someones abaility to do their job on their hairstyle. Or their sex, sexual preference, what car they drive, the size of their house or the colour of their skin.
Is the person the best person for the job? This should be the ***ONLY*** criteria.
Its really s
t that in 2020, a senior person who, one can comfortably presume has got there through hard work and merit, is judged by their hairstyle.
Grow up or f
k off back to the 80s.

I say congrats to her on becoming the first female Chief Constable of Derbyshire.
Her hairstyle is unusual, but really, what's the issue?
Agreed. At least one of the comments on this thread is indicative of a knuckle dragging fondness for working man's club comedians and the broad strokes portraiture of sexuality and identity much loved by the less tolerant amongst us. Her hairstyle is unusual, but really, what's the issue?

Quite. There are even some on here that even think the BLM thing is people "moaning about their skin colour".Is the person the best person for the job? This should be the ***ONLY*** criteria.

Derbyshire police and crime commissioner Hardyal Dhindsa said Mrs Swann was a "diversity champion in her own right".
It’s just a hunch, but I suspect that ‘hard work and merit’ has significantly less to do with it than box ticking and diversity.

Who gives a toss what her hair looks like, she's obviously up to the job given that she has been promoted to that position at a relatively young age.
Likely that many folks judging her for this are also fans of Boris, convinietly ignoring his devil-may-care approach to personal styling.
Personally, I believe that frosted tips are best left in the 80's, but if that's what works for her - all power to her elbow.
