My son wants a jubilee bracelet for the above. However he has small wrists. Are the ones available on Ebay for about £20 going to be able to be reduced enough to fit a youth?

Many thanks.

What's his wrist size?

I would think the answer is going to be 'no' - the fold over clasp (images 9 and 10 on that eBay listing) will dictate how far you can reasonably shorten the bracelet, because it forms an inflexible strip on the underside of your wrist, and could end up being almost as wide as your son's wrist. The links sit 'above' it, but it stops them flexing in the direction you want.
Probably better off with a strap you can cut down (for now, at least).

16cm. The standard "oyster" on the Seiko goes down far enough.

If that’s for a SKX (Which I think it is) it won’t fit an SNZF case as the lugs are longer

Ah, you'll possibly be OK then. A 16cm / 6.3" wrist is small but not tiny, I was envisaging sub 6".

Oh. Bugger. Ordered it now.

What one do I need?

Okay, I bought the above "Jubilee" bracelet from Ebay and after a bit of adjustment managed to fit it.

The bracelet is in maximum reduction and it is barely tight enough. But he was cold when I fitted it; he will expand when hot and as he grows!

It's not perfect, because the pressed steel "infills" or whatever they are called don't quite fill the lug space. But it's OK and Junior is delighted with it

Did you have to squash the end links a bit?

No. I had to open up the spring bar holes in the end links a bit.

I did wonder about trying to open up the end links a bit, but I thought they may not fit flush against the case.
