currently trying to sell our house and have selected an EA.
The contract we have is for an initial 12 weeks, which then turns into a rolling contract.
If we want to terminate the contract then we need to give 28days notice. So if we want to give them the initial 12 weeks and then wish to terminate we will actually need to give notice at week 8 (or thereabouts).
Can we give notice to terminate at any point from the contract starting or does it have to be delivered on week 8 ? I'd like to send the mail now to say that we will service notice from day XX now to ensure it's done ?

28 days notice includes 29 days but excludes 27. I would actually wait until week 8 ish if I were you, you may think the EA is useless now, they will become more so once notice is given.The contract we have is for an initial 12 weeks, which then turns into a rolling contract.
