its going to be an auto
picked up auto from swizz yesterday
went to see ferretty reg who gave me a flex plate and an auto propshaft [think i have a mk 1 based prop that i can remove ujs from and swap mk 2 splined end onto]
and he has just phoned to say he has the torque converter which i'll pick up in the next few days
then i can move it to Jans friend Junes garage and rip the manual box out
if anyones interested in the box its a 4 speed escort works well but bearings are a slightly noisy no chattering juddering or grinding though
