Dash vents

Hi again guys ! does anyone know what vehicle the vents on the top of the dash come from on a 89 350i ?

I think the ally ones look ok apart from the fact they throw up a bad reflections on the screen

Will they come with a fan and heater that actually work?

If so I will have a full page of tickets.

My heater vents can at best be described as asthmatic. That's with a new matrix and the fan on full blast!

I think the long thin dash vents are from a MKII fiesta, and I would like some too.

As for a working heater box, I have started work on mine again. I had the cut and folded PVC version. I am now designing a cut and folded PolyPropylene version, along with some PP demist cowlings to replace the funny ABS plenum under the dash. This ABS plenum works worse than my Series 1 280 which had some funny GRP scoops.

Well, welding PP is quite fun, but making a new fan centrifuge housing is not.

As a side project I just got a custom swan neck made - very nice.
