Anyone had fluid buildup in legs?
Discussion
Consider wearing some light compression hosiery while driving. Go see your GP and ask if there's a specialist lymphoedema clinic in your area.
If you develop chronic lymphoedema, you're in for a long haul of increased time in compression garments and potential recurrent infections. Don't ignore this.

- Walk for a couple of mile every morning and every evening.
- Don't sit down for long periods
- Elevate the legs when you can
- Hot showers and baths and use a loofah to scrub the legs
Should sort it out in a few weeks.
Will do, thanks for the advice, you talking from experience? - Don't sit down for long periods

Had this a couple of times yes. Last time was in March at the start of lockdown. I think that the move to WFH meant I was sat down at home an awful lot which brought it on again. The regime I posted above sorted it out for me and was the result of a fair amount of research on my part. Hope it helps.OP, I suffer from it due to a chronic illness of which hypertension is a side effect. I'm now on Furosemide, a diuretic. It's annoying, but as a couple of posters have alluded to, the risks of not addressing it are not pleasant. I'd go and see your GP, as it might be symptomatic of something else.
I had similar, right leg between knee and ankle would be swollen after work, next morning back to normal.
Mentioned it when at doctors getting my asthma checkup. He took one look, sent me straight to hospital with suspected dvt, luckily it wasn't a dvt.
Turned out vein valve at top of leg was not working, had an endovenous laser treatment, no problems since.

and for a while i had the same problem. Often it will get worse unless sorted. Moving more helps pump the fluid away as well as raising legs in bed or when at home.
