I have a 2012 991 carrera s with bi-xenon lights.

I drove it for the first time at night yesterday.

On full beam they really light up the road as i would expect, however on dipped the beams only seem to project about 50 meters in front of me.

Is there any adjustment i can make to the height or can you recommend any replacement bulbs that might project the beam a bit further?

Maybe they are the down rated xenons that were cynically fitted at that time. Technically they are xenons but reduced in output so they don’t require either self levelling or headlamp washers.

The headlamp washers tell you - no washers and you have the down rated units.

My 2010 997 turbo was the same, the OPC never managed to set them up enough on dip (see pic). Think the lights were standard as they didn’t tilt up when starting like my earlier 997 did.
Now in a 991.1 and they are fabulous on dip, technically I don’t know what bulbs I have now either as no mention of anything special on the spec sheet.
