I've got a 2015 quad-core i7 5k iMac, a 2019 hex-core i7 4k iMac and a 2020 hex-core i7 Mini, so don't really need another one yet.

I just buy the fastest model I can when I need one - usually don't have the option/inclination to be waiting 6-18 months 'just in case'.
