The car has conveniently reminded me that my front pads need replacing
however, physical inspection shows that they are only about 50% worn, sensors still intact.

I've tried a few of the YouTube methods, but all have been unsuccessful.

Any suggestions ?

(Its the all digital dash, if that makes any difference)

You won’t reset a worn sensor unless you have diagnosis software. If you buy a new sensor you’ll find it easy to reset.

Are the sensors just the simple wire loop?
If so, then they are fine - about 6-7mm of pad material left.

Warning message yellow

on a mileage countdown.

it is on a mileage countdown as that is when the 'puter thinks they will wear out.

Don't think there is anything you can do about it, but dealers can reset it.
