Daily Aspirin Usage
Discussion
Yes. Aspirin inhibits aggregation of platelets. Platelets are blood cells that are responsible for blood clotting, hence aspirin’s use in reducing the risk of thrombosis. A natural side effect is bleeding more readily because the blood is less “sticky” and bruising = subcutaneous bleeding.

There are more effective drugs available for blood 'thinning' than aspirin.
Assuming a medical professional prescribed it for a medical issue, I'd suggest discussing changing it for one of the newer available ones with that professional.
Aspirin remains the go-to anti-platelet drug for prevention of heart disease and pretty much everybody who has ever suffered angina or a heart attack will be taking it unless they have an allergy or an intolerance - which is hundreds of thousands of people in the U.K. at a minimum. It is not actually used as a formal anticoagulant (“blood-thinner”). Assuming the drugs you are thinking about are the newer replacements for warfarin (e.g. Apixiban; Rivaroxaban) they are used for conditions which aspirin would now not be prescribed for - the commonest being atrial fibrillation. Assuming a medical professional prescribed it for a medical issue, I'd suggest discussing changing it for one of the newer available ones with that professional.
