Good morning,

Looking to rewire the race car and looking for a cheap / free software program which I can use to produce the wiring diagram.

Please move if I've posted in the wrong forum.

TIA

Ross,
A Google that took 0.58 seconds revealed a host of "wiring diagram software". Suggest you explore some of those.

But I suppose you are looking for recommendations. I recommend an A3 sheet of drawing paper, a pencil, a ruler and a soft rubber eraser. 2B pencil will rub out easiest - you can always go over the lines with a Rotring pen when finished.

What car will you be rewiring?

Good morning,

Formula Vee likely to be running a Aim MxM dash, additional gauge and Vbox. Considering at the moment whether to go the Cartek PDM.

Cheers

I have just rewired a dimma 205 and using the ecu master pmu with its own screen too as opposed to the cartek pdm.
I’m just about to start the programming/setting up but seems straight forward so far.
Looked for a similar free program for drawings but ended up using pen and paper.

Ah, ok then, not got a diagram for your car

Dia Diagram Editor https://sourceforge.net/projects/dia-installer/

Is free

It's good but nothing fancy, has symbols for switches, fuses, resistors.........

Images can be dragged into Dia and this does make life easier

For example, instead of having to slowly slowly draw a few relays, I have images of relays in a folder and simply select the one's needed, see below

The following were drawn with Dia
