Selling watches SAFELY in the UK!?!

Hi Folks,
Got a couple of my watches for sale and tried on here, ebay, facebook, gumtree, chrono24 etc. I sold previously safely on the omega owners forum.
Facebook seems to attract the scammers - want to talk on whatapp, not email, want to pay by paypal, not bank transfer. Then disappear when I ask them for some form of ID to save me and them getting scammed - I'd reciprocate.
So what is the safest way to sell second hand as I've had a few people try it on and starting to get paranoid. UK Based sales btw.
