KEF LSX. Anyone got them?
Discussion
I am looking to declutter my bedroom, there is currently an AV receiver and some B&W M1s for 5 channel action.
I was considering the KEF LSX as The Mrs likes them and they would greatly help with a clean aesthetic.
I have amazon Music HD and was wondering if anyone was using these speakers with Amazon music, and any experiences at all.
Thanks.

Yes I purchased a pair of olive green last October. I had to move from the loft to a box room so sold all my old HiFi gear ( apart from the CD player ).I was considering the KEF LSX as The Mrs likes them and they would greatly help with a clean aesthetic.

I use them via optical from a decent Soundblaster card on the PC to play ALAC rips. The CD Player is connected via good old Phono. I also play Amazon HD via the PC and occasionally vis Bluetooth from an iPad.
I ended up with a 7 month trial of Tidal and while it sounded great it was expensive and there was not a massive amount of difference between Tidal and the new Amazon HD service.
My ALAC cd rips sound in most instances better than Amazons UltraHD tracks if you play them back to back.
People do moan about the KEF App but I use it to setup the speakers and thats it... Best quality attained by daisy chaining the speakers together with the Cat6 cable supplied.
The Remote is serviceable but again could be of better quality .... Again not a problem for me as I only use it to turn the speakers on or off which I could do with my iPad or phone if I wanted to ...
I did have a slight problem of vibration through the desk but a purchase of a couple of stands sorted nicely and also brought the speakers upto ear height :
IsoAcoustics Iso-Stand Series Speaker Isolation Stands : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CODRTNC/ref...
Overall I'm very pleased with them. They sound superb and look fantastic. I would buy again knowing what I know now.

I had forgotten about this thread.
I could not justify the £1000 for our bedroom and bought a Denon CEOL M10 and Q Acoustics 3020i.
Half the price of the LSX and I'm pretty happy with their performance.
Nice kit. I have seen the LSX down at £799 from time to time. I would have probably gone a similar route if it wasn’t for space just because it’s nice to see the kit and have buttons to twiddle.I could not justify the £1000 for our bedroom and bought a Denon CEOL M10 and Q Acoustics 3020i.
