Hi all,

I am interested in buying a Golf R Dsg MK7 or MK7.5, but what I would like to know is the MPH per 1000 rpm in 6th gear for the MK7 and MPH per 1000rpm in 7th gear for the MK7.5.

Thanks.

That's a curious question. What would the answers need to be to help make the decision?

sorry, I've no idea,

Hi,

That's great, many thanks. Looks like I need to find a good low mileage 3 Door MK7.5 in Black - could be a challenge.

Thanks all for the feedback.

In my old manual you can’t hear the engine and it returns about 40 mpg at a steady 70. Never really looked at the revs unless accelerating

That sounds really good to me, 70 and relaxed quiet driving plus good economy. Wish I could press the heavy clutch down though, life would be a lot easier and cheaper.
