Found the perfect antidote to the sh*tty virus times, a lush yellow VFR.

I've been wanting one of these for a very long time since parting with my 6th gen, and missed out on two really good ones that came up for sale recently. This 5th gen is a 99 plate, so pre-cat, pre-O2 sensors, pre-HISS, pre-VTEC... Less to go wrong!

The V4 through the titanium system and the whine of the gear driven cams is utterly addicive. I had a LOT of fun riding this 200 miles home yesterday! The bike came with the exhaust system, two new tyres, a full service, an Ohlins rear shock and the mileage is nothing at 28,000. Hot grips are on there too, nice to have.

I can't imagine ever selling it. The soundtrack and smell of petrol thrown out of the back is intoxicating. The ride is spot on, the upgraded suspension makes a real difference and bar risers have made the position perfectly comfortable.

Gonna try and use it less than my F800GS but I just know I'm going to struggle not to reach for the Honda keys instead...

Can't wait to give it a good thrashing into Wales soon, the noise this makes is most of the reason I bought it!
