2006 Cayman S fault codes P2096 and P0134
Discussion
Hello all,
My 2006 Cayman s with 112k miles has came up with fault codes P2096 and P0134, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same 2 together and what the fix was.
The previous owner has installed a sports exhaust which I think could have caused this problem but I have very little knowledge.
The codes were knocked off to see if that did the trick but within probably 20 miles they were back on.
I believe P0134 is a problem with the oxygen sensor but I'm unsure whether to replace that to see if it helps if its the exhaust thats causing the issue in the first place.
Any ideas or help welcome!
Cheers

May not be related but before you start replacing stuff, check oil and petrol filler caps. I once slightly cross threaded the oil filler cap on my Boxster and it threw a lean code over 50 miles later after a motorway run. tightened it but the codes dont reset for so many operating cycles. cheap code reader for a tenner off amazon to reset codes and sped up the trouble shooting. I understand oxygen and MAF may fail or get dirty and show errors but sometimes the universes gives us an easy fix
