Hi all
Can anybody help i have a 1.3 samurai engine head number is 61AS7. The only differance between it and the engine in the car is the fuel pump
.The engine in car has a manual fuel pump. The engine with head num 61AS7 doesn t, I can t swap heads over so does anybody now what year model the 61AS7 engine came out of.
The engine block numbers are the same

I can't answer your question, but presumably the electric pump version will be a later year and I imagine there are a limited number of versions of that car/engine combination. You could probably narrow the options down by searching online suppliers for the part number for the electric pump and seeing what year ranges they offer.
It isn't obvious why you would want to know the year. What problem are you trying to solve?
