Bridging Final Salary pension

Im close to selecting a bridging pension option from my final salary scheme.
Ive been all over the figures, understand them, and how income changes at normal retirement age etc Weve spoken with an IFA and so far we cant see a catch.
Is there one hidden in later years? Tax liability etc?
