I have NFU fleet policy which covers me to drive any car and offer very good cover with a two year new car replacement in a write off situation. However NFU strictly exclude any track cover so my RS WP is with Footman and James who are reasonable, include seven track days with none of the usual mandatory 10% excess every one else seems to insist on...
Both companies are brilliant to deal with especially Footman and James who paid out on a claim i made on my RS with no quibble whatsoever..Juno and Yellow491 both insure their RS WPs with them after my recommendation..

I've had a GT3 and 2 x Ferrari's on my multi car with Admiral. The separate quote for the 458 was as much as the whole multi car for 5 vehicles....
Someone drove into me in one car, luckily caught on CCTV, they were 100% to blame. Admiral were brilliant, forced the issue as the third party's insurer was trying to go for 50/50 blame.
It took 9 months to resolve but their legal teams got it resolved.
I always get separate quotes for each car every year, so when they try to raise the renewal price, I have the ammo waiting to fire back. They always reduce in the end to match the best price on each car.
It's worth the time once a year for the £100's we save.
As long as you check their policy inclusions and it all stacks up, I'd go for it.

My insurance renewal is due very soon for my GT3RS WP. At present I'm with Locktons; I've had a quote from Admiral for a Multi Car Policy which is extremely reasonable though surprisingly comprehensive. Honest advice please, should I make the change or not?
Check with Classicline too.MrVert said:

Easy when it’s a no fault claim, less so when you need to claim as admirals small print on cars over 3 years old is shocking cover. Hence why it’s cheap, you get nothing for free. My car was a 2011 997.2, accident was last year. Car was repaired at a top Porsche / Ferrari / Lambo specialist of my choice at a cost of over £20k...the other party tried to blame me so it wasn't viewed as a no fault claim until closed.Excellent service in my experience..
I don’t know if it is still the case but years ago I was insured with them and bought a new car which had a decent amount of optional extras on it. Admiral insist on you declaring every factory option but certainly back then in the event of a total loss claim they only paid out on the value of a base spec car. When I discovered that I looked elsewhere....

That's still the case, which was why I declared the options. Had to explain each one, which was really tedious. The fact that they don't insure cars with roll cages suggests that it might well become a bigger problem than refusing to pay the extra value of a CS optioned car if the CS option is not declared and a claim is made
