I was fortunate enough to get a good lease deal on an IPace (poverty spec S) 18m ago and this is soon to expire. I'm now sold on the concept of the fast quality EV and am looking for my next lease.
3 options I have shortlisted are:-
A) Continue with the IPace S on informal basis for about £410/month - negative is its too basic.
B) Lease IPace SE (pre-facelift), Metallic for about £550/month (6+35) so more toys but same car. I'm OK with all the IPace infotainment issues now as I use Android Auto. Comes out about 12% on 5k miles/Yr.
C) Lease Polestar 2 - impressive test drive - for about £510/month (6+35). Far more and better tech, less badge image? About 16% on 5k miles/yr.
I know I have to make my own mind up but am interested in what others might go for.
Oh, the Tesla beached whale car is a non-starter on grounds of quality and looks (IMHO obviously). I have home charging and range is not an issue, given my driving.

I have the same i-pace deal as you, and I'm going with the informal extension option for the time being.

Not sure the polestar is much of a different car to the i-pace to justifying paying much more.

And with the informal extension you can be very flexible to jump at any new good deals which might come out.

I have a strange feeling the ipace wont be bettered for a long time.

However try the audi etron. I was very impressed. The etron was around £650pm on a 3+36 in July.

Thanks, guys. Informal extension certainly looks the best short term solution.
Audi Etron is just so ordinary, to my eyes. I had 3 Audis before the IPace, so I'm a fan, but the etron just doesn't hit the spot.

Completely agree. Etron is just too lardy.

Personally I would be tempted by the Model Y, although that doesn't look to be available until the end of next year.

Do you really only do 5k miles a year?

2nd car and an indulgence. Wife's diesel CRV used for trips abroad, when the donkeys alow it. 5k miles pa but will increase as French infrastructure improves but will not hit 8k.
