What would you be driving instead?
For me a TVR is exclusive because there really isn't anything else on the roads like it, especially for the cost.
However, if they hadn't been around I think my car now would either be a C6 Corvette or Dax Cobra replica.

My choice....instead of TVR Cerb would maybe be a Morgan Aero 2 or AeroMax. With Hammann engine upgrade.

I think Marcos are rapidly becoming to TVR what Muse is to Radiohead.

So I would say the new Marcos cars.

Interesting post.

I was playing AutotTrader What next? The other day and came up with:

Lotus Esprit, Aston Virage, Maserati 3200GT in no particular order.

I've had Elises' and loved them but like 'bigger' cars these days. I Looked at Ferraris but you'd really think twice about just jumping in a Ferrari for a trip to the station, so it was ruled out.

No! I prefer my Cerbera to my Chimaera 500 already.
