Bank closed, for payments?

Well it maybe just me but when trying to pay my road tax there is no authorisation number being sent to my phone, to enable authorisation of payment, anyone else having this problem at all?

I have spoken with customer services unfortunately a Scottish Lady whom i found very difficult to understand, she was looking into it as the system had sent authorisation but had not arrived, and was asked to hold on and 5 miniutes later they hung up, so no further forward.

Its a bit of a sod as i am trying to tax the car for use next week.

Does your bank have an app you can download? That might bypass the need for a one-time code.

I am not enthralled by the mobile banking system so keep it as simple as i can by only using a card for cash and credit/debit payments, so not interested in the app systems.
Still waiting for bank to return with solution/resolution.

Neither am I & I don't use them as a matter of course but sometimes when you're stuck & in the crap an app can provide a way of getting things done. Like you need to now.

Have you tried generating the OTP again?

Whenever that’s happened to me I just set up the payment again.

You can set up the payment as many times as you like, it will only actually pay the one with the last approved OTP.

Usually works for me.
