After removing the front number plate & discovering how flimsy the plinth is, has anyone fitted the number plate directly to the mesh grille or is there an aftermarket improved plinth?
It's a real shame as otherwise these are really great cars, well designed & a quality piece of engineering, this is just my opinion of course.
Last car was a V12s & a V8s before that.

The plinth is as sturdy as it needs to be really, it is only holding a number plate. Did put my shorter plate straight on the grill at first but it didn’t look right so I bought a Swiss number plate plinth that was a perfect length for four digit plate and a direct fit.
Oh and my last car was a V12S too!

Thanks for your reply, the short plate looks great. So how long have you had your car for & was it an easy decision to move from the V12S to this one. The only real thing I miss is the V12 sound, but pretty much everything else is an improvement. The shape & look of the latest model is at its best in the flesh, mine is in Hyper Red.

Resurrecting an old thread here, don't suppose anyone knows the part number for the Swiss Plinth do they? Oh and my last car was a V12S too!
