Blenders - ear protection
Discussion
I have started to do alot of blending since the lockdown, smoothies and such, with my Ninja. It's one loud mo-fo.
I used to cover one ear, press the auto button and run out of the kitchen - but appreciate this probably isn't the best way going forwards.
Would music earplugs suffice (I have some Alpine Musicsafe ones for loud venues) or do PH'ers recommend something more meaty?

I agree with op. Blenders are ridiculously loud. I don’t use one but wifey does. Drives me mad.
I’m sure a lawnmower compliant with the latest regs would be quieter in the kitchen. I’m surprised companies are allowed to sell them as loud as they are given all the other regs we have.
I think the full headset type ear defenders are the best solution. Quick and easy to put on, very effective but take up storage space.
