Firstly sorry mods, not sure if this was the best place but thought I’d get the right people in this section of the forum.

Looking for a car cover for my M3 E92.

The car is (unfortunately) outside on the drive all year round, so the cover needs to be able to stand up against the UK’s harsh winters but also be suitable for hot days.

My mate suggested buying two covers, one for winter and one for summer... is this really necessary?

Any pointers welcome!

I'd personally not bother, the UK weather will batter the cover and probably do more harm than good.
Giving it a good polish and wax every 6 months would be more beneficial.

That’s quality, thanks.

Do you have a rough idea on what it’s costing you?

They're not cheap, the prices vary depending on length, height, etc, but I'm looking at £1500-ish. So much better than just a cover though IMO.

The are other types which are kinda like an old fashioned pram hood if you know what I mean, they lift up and over the car but they tend to be much taller and I need to keep the height down on mine.
