Dunhill watch battery replacement

I need a battery replaced quickly and Dunhill are now unable to replace in store as they used to and are quoting me at leat 10 working days because they need to send it away to their workshops..

I want it for a wedding in 2 weeks.

Can anybody help with any ideas of where to take the watch on a while you wait basis?

Watch Surgery have a little stall in Bond Street station. They did the battery for my Breitling in half an hour or so.

Thanks Toasty, that suggests it's a pretty straightforward job.

I might be being a bit 'precious' here but the watch was a present from my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary and I would hate to have it damaged.

I took mine to a high street Jewellers who refused to work on it because it's a Dunhill and according to them, fragile. I then found a concession in a Morrisons supermarket who changed the battery happily while I waited. He reckoned they aren't fragile at all but some jewellers are just afraid of the cost of repair if they damage it.
