On another thread, I was asking advise on a mid life crisis car. I was considering another hot hatch, preferably one with va-va-voom. Or something similar.

Allow me to introduce my (maybe) last car. No? I don't believe it either, don't worry.

She needs a bit of tidying inside and out. Colour match for the bonnet and wing, or maybe an entire colour change. Try to get the Recaros lowered. But I am very, very happy (and grateful my long suffering wife allows me to do this!).

Behold, the crashed and modified Ph1 Clio V6. Coilovers, wheels, cup spoiler, cf bonnet, and I think the engine has been played with as well, as it is a lot perkier than I remember the Ph2 to be. I will try to get a nice shot of this and the Sagaris together....

Nice! Need bigger pictures! Wheels look interesting. Remember when these were £6k-£8k, bet yours cost a fair few pennies more now smile

Repaint.... I'm thinking Williams blue with gold wheels.

Cost.... Well under £20k. Considering I sold my Cat C Ph2 for £11K seven years ago.... It could have been a lot worse. This is also cat repaired. We think nearside front. Perfect repair and driving, so....

Remember those wheels from Gran Turismo if I'm not mistaken. Reckon they will be worth something. They staying or going?

I'd also go wild with the colour change or just get it wrapped as an interm in something interesting.

Need bigger pics!!!!

Excellent mid life crisis choice.

Surely liquid yellow is the colour to go for.

To my eyes turning it such an iconic natural colour would be artificially making it something it isn't. If you can follow that?

As such, a colour change to an iconic colour scheme that it has never been, along with the spoiler and wheels, would make it more acceptable.

I know, crazy.

Famed for twitchy handling on the limit... My last one was fine, but I tend not to take too many liberties on the road....

Totally on board with the Williams blue and gold wheels. Those who know, will know.

I favour that.

Clio Williams colours don't work for me on the V6.

Sunflower yellow for a Phase 1 would look better I reckon and be unique.

Hi all, a brief update. The rear spoiler has been colour coded, I've hard wired in a charger for an Accumate, had the exhaust fixed (aftermarket, not enough hangers on it so it was impacting the rear valance). Oh, and added an Alpine head unit. Some my pics, others nicked off people.

Brought in through the drain hole - no cutting required!

No real plans over the winter with it, but come spring, have a real play! Due to health issues I haven't been able to use it much, but the one spirited drive I did manage had me grinning like a loon.

Lovely. thumbup

There is a PHer near me who has a silver V6 to go with his RX7.

Hopefully you will get to enjoy it once the current lockdown ends.
