Didn't notice the calipers but the exhaust tips were a £500 factory extra(sports tips), I know it's not perfect spec. but I would look to change the seats for folding buckets. Most 997.2 tend to have standard seatsIt's £40k all day long if history and provenance comes up to scratch

Not a fan of black wheels or the sport design style, also older car, more miles etc so price relative.Low miles, manual, good price.

These cars sound crap without the sports exhaust so I'd be wanting to rectify that immediatley which either means expensive OEM or after market. If you go after market then its a non standard car so again looks expensive. As for fitting folding buckets. Good luck finding them unless you have them already. I gave up after two years. When they do come up on the second hand market prices range between £5-8K. At £44k it needs to be almost perfect spec and at an OPC.It's £40k all day long if history and provenance comes up to scratch

Agree on price, finding exactly what you want is tough, my criteria most colours don't mind 18" standard wheels or 19s Carrera Classic or sport, post late 2010 sub 35k miles, low owners FPSH or later history good indie and no over revs above zone 1. PASM I can take or leave but everything else is a bonus ie sports seats, pse, short shift, chronoEdited by GT4P on Saturday 5th September 09:10
Agree with the above. For that price it would have to be an OPC Car with 2yr warranty.
Also, in this price range, I’d be looking for an ‘S’ or a 3.6 with PASM and PSE. Makes a massive difference..
Cobra Nogaro seats fit well, look superb and are reasonably priced (compared to OEM seats).

You might have to say none above range 2.
Which is Still NOT a over Rev. Only 3 and above is an over rev.

Maybe it's just my paranoia relating to an ill-fated 996 years ago and I'm certainly not claiming any expertise, but the right exhaust tips look pretty dirty compared to the left - perhaps its burning some oil? Porsche911R said:

The 997 you have linked isn't particularly 'nice' though (apart from the low miles).
It's ridiculously overpriced for what it is and a 991 would be a better buy at that sort of money.
the OP don't want a 991.1It's ridiculously overpriced for what it is and a 991 would be a better buy at that sort of money.
The only 991 I would be interested in would be a manual 991T( bar the 991.2gt3/R)
I have never said I would purchase at that price mearley inquiring if anyone new this car, the spec. Is not perfect but as anyone knows who have been looking for a 997.2 it is getting harder to find the right car so if one wants to buy you compromise and pays your money or continue the wait for how ever long that takes.
When you can pay north of £40k for a 987CR a 911 of the same year is not expensive at £40k plus!
Moonigan did you purchase a 997.2 a few years back I seem to recall it was a lovely spec.?

IMHO the white £44K car is a £34-37K car retail if you take the current COVID FOMO out of the equation which I'd say accounts for a 10-20% price hike which means trade bids would be sub £30K,
Of all the cars that are currently for sale on AT/PH the white one at CMSPorsche looks good value (in todays market). That said the brake calipers look bleached which puts me off and its only had 4 services in 10 years. Personally I'd be waiting until the market is less frothy and then be really picky.

Disagree about the colour I think red suits the 911 and to be honest the vanilla 997.2 is plenty quick enough and IMHO the pick of the 997 range but then what do I know
