I have a 2013 D9.2 and as title suggests a cracked front driver side coil spring. Not even sure when or where it happened. Looked into getting a new spring and it appears a full new strut including damper is the only dealer option, obviously at big cost. Not wanting to go down this road so just reaching out to see if anybody has any alternative solutions. Thank you.

I have a full set of springs I removed from my db9 sat in the garage, ill check and see if they are the same part number (mines an early one) but I'd be happy to sell a single spring if you want?

So I've spent a bit of time trying to find a part number for a DB9.2 and I'm afraid I've drawn a blank.
Everything i can find has a complete unit for a db9.2 but individual parts for an earlier DB9
I don't know if anyone else here can answer the question?

Thanks for looking Hutch. I'm not sure if the older DB9 springs can be used in the newer model, worth looking into though. Its just bizarre that Aston wont sell a spring on its own. I was trying to ascertain who manufacture the springs for Aston and see if I can go direct, but no luck yet.

Thanks

Are these items best fitted in pairs?

I saw an almost identical thread yesterday by coincidence, albeit for a vantage. Yes, they should be fitted as a pair. Can’t help on the original manufacturer but pretty sure mike at br will know or be able to advise on the best option to sort it out.

Cheers Andy, fired off an email to Mike at B.R, hopefully I'll get a reply soon.

Hi Hutch

Would you still have the front coil springs for the db9? If so, please send me a message (I can't send you one). Many thanks
