So yesterday we ended up with yet another winner .
Today the Irwins were quickest in warm up , with Mackenzie 4th , Brookes just scraping into top 10 and Bridewell not in top 10 .
Glen Irwin's heading the championship with 112 points , Bridewell with 101, Iddon 94 , Brookes 92 and Mackenzie jumping into 4th .
Another couple of decent results for Ryde and he should be up there by the end of the day .
I certainly though this year would be between Brookes and Bridewell , not really shaping up that way though , it's almost like Tommy does his best when he chops and changes bikes like that season where he had 3 different teams and just got better and better.

The tyres situation is a bit odd this year. Seems to have screwed the Ducati riders a bit, although Brookes rode a good race 2 (until Ryde took the win).
Doesn't seem to make sense running the same tyres as WSBK but without the electronics to be able to manage them. Makes for good racing at least, and I'd rather this than it being a V4R fest (I thought Brookes was a shoe in for the title).

Build base Suzuki had a bit of a blinding weekend! Super bike and super stock wins!
I managed to get in yesterday and today, it’s not great to watch at but it’s ok on the inside of Copse and we managed to get round to Luffield too.
Decent weather, some decent races. Only marred by some overly officious ‘security’ today, yesterday was fine, you cud go where the passes allowed, but today for some reason they tried to stop people even if they had passes. No idea why, a few people argued and they changed their mind and let them in! The security at Silverstone is quite often up its own arse, tbf!
Saw Shakey doing donuts in his 911 yesterday and saw James Hayden in his 911 today. I think it may even be the one he had when he was riding, a silver 996!
Me and my daughter even got on the telly, missus and the lad were obstructed by a fence post and Marshall flag!

Do we think the Suzuki is a much better bike than it has looked since launched or is Ryde a proper star?
I find it really strange that Dunlop won a TT on the new GSXR and then Ray looked properly fast on it at the start in BSB before losing his way. Yet everyone wants to jump on a BMW because its the best option (factory Ducati and Honda aside).

I think Ryde is really good. The new tyres might have helped the GSXR against the competition perhaps? Ray was a weird one how he was very quick and then completely dropped off.

How'd you swing that one to get in?I managed to get in yesterday and today, it’s not great to watch at but it’s ok on the inside of Copse and we managed to get round to Luffield too.

Ryde has always been a class rider and he is really showing that class now on the big bikes.
Absolutely not taking anything away from him here either, but that Sikverstone track does seem to suit the Suzuki's too.
Tom Neave was leading the first STK1000 race before a small mistake put him wide on to thr ripples and he lost the front. And he won the second race of the weekend too.
Considering the switch to this current layout of Silverstone being used was a controversial one a couple of years ago (after thr MotoGP washout) its proved time and again to produce some of the best racing of the season throughout all the classes.

Yes it is an odd circuit, only one left hander. Weirdly, it reminds me a bit of Mallory Park, where Buildbase Suzuki are based i think!! Absolutely not taking anything away from him here either, but that Sikverstone track does seem to suit the Suzuki's too.

Whilst Silverstone may suit the Suzook, Ryde has looked quick all year and had some bad luck previously. He's the real deal. Oulton next, didn't Ray and Kiyo win double headers there on the Suzuki?
