Was sitting at work last night on my midnight break thumbing through a '98 edition of Classic Car magazine
reading about these old Alpha engines.
BRILLIANT design (ok wet liners but an all alloy engine!! come on) and then read that the cams came from the factory with verniers fitted as standard (to get timing "spot" on)
Read through the article again and was left thinking you wouldn't get that DEPTH of engineering these days.
Seriously had me hankering after getting one and rebuilding it slow time just for the hell of it (re-built the cvh in the mojo as a first project)
That's all just a bit of bla...
