Hi.

I know from various threads that the 997 Turbo exhaust is the one this this car lacks for noise. What I did notice is that on a cold start there must be an exhaust valve open as the noise on cold start sound amazing. Is there any way of trying to always keep the valve open or are there complications by doing so?

there is no valve on gen1 (and i dont think there is on gen2 either) as i have replaced the exhaust myself when i had one with a Europipe. You're probably just hearing the effect of the extra fueling the ECU doing to warm the Cat up. Replacement exhaust is the only way to go in my view.

Have Europipe stage 2 exhaust on both 991 and 997 turbo. Awesome sound.

Sharkwerks for me on my 997.2 turbo. £1500 all in and it sounds epic. I’d buy the Europipe just to hang on the wall. It’s that beautiful. But for the price I think the Sharkwerks is the best option out there. Tunnel runs are hilariously fun!
