Talktalk woes

Bit of an odd one with my Talktalk broadband.

It is usually reliable but since yesterday evening I’m unable to access certain websites and the App Store from my iPad. Some websites, like PH fortunately, are fine and run as fast as usual, others like some, but not all, Reddit pages will not load. I follow two local news websites, both part of the “This is” group. One loads and the other doesn’t.

It’s really odd. I’ve just given the router the 30 minute power down they always suggest and that hasn’t made any difference. I can’t see any other Talktalk users complaining about similar, so it looks like it is just me. Any one got any ideas?

After farting about with their technical support off and on all day, it now seems there is a fault in my area causing this.

Nice get out of jail free card for the tech support guy who can tell me to go away as he doesn’t know when it will be fixed.
