I have noticed that on cold mornings, when there is a lot of condensation on my windscreen, I get these strange marks appear all over the screen, mostly on the driver side though. They disappear when wiped with the wipers, but then return after a second or two. It sometimes seems to go on for ages. It is always the same spots. I have tried cleaning the glass, it is almost like stains on the windscreen that aren't actually visible most of the time.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can sort this?

The screenshot uploaded is the best example I can find of the issue online. Mine isn't quite as extreme though, but not far off.

Wet the windscreen then clean it using a small amount of toothpaste (the cheap white stuff) on a damp cloth. Clean the wiper blades thoroughly with undiluted screenwash or vinegar.

Carpro Ceriglass on a microfibre cloth will sort that out combined with a little elbow grease.

You'll need some rubbing alcohol, IPA or similar and another microfibre or two to remove the residue.

I’ve found the best way to really deal with a windscreen is the following:

1) Clay bar and windscreen cleaner
2) Then use a magic eraser with windscreen cleaner
3) Finally go over it with the cleaner again before buffing off.
