Evening all
Has anyone got a python green cayman? Just specking my gt4 and wondering whether I can get away with python and red door pulls, seat belts and Dials.
Red and green should never be seen as the saying goes but I rather like it, could just do with seeing some pics of it rather than a rendered digital image in the Porsche configurator.
Appreciate that ‘safe’ colours will be better at resale but to hell with it.
Cheers

errr, but why not get the custom stitch colour in python too? you can sort this out in person with your OPD, rather than on the configurator.

If you like it get it, spending all that money you may as well get what you enjoy rather than someone else enjoys!

If you want it GO FOR IT. Asking in here is a risky game - you will I suspect get some quite opinionated responses from self appointed gurus who know everything about colours/specifications and resale values. They will likely influence your decision and you will quite possibly end up going for the “safe” choice then regret it when you get the car home! You only get one life, buy what YOU want and enjoy it cool

All these 70's retro/pastel colours are fashionable currently, but will they stand the test of time or sink without trace until returning again in x number of years?

Sure they make a statement, and a bold one at that... your car, your choice. For me, I feel that going for a lairy colour would be limiting your future potential potential purchasers - so not an issue if it's a keeper. Having said that I saw a gorgeous yellow 996 on Sunday, and am seriously considering hunting down a yellow Cayman for my next.

This! GT cars need vibrant colours to emphasise the scoops, vents, grilles etc. Everyone has an opinion, for example, Gentian seems popular and Evo magazine referred to it as Doom Blue!

I would have Python myself.

I would go ...

Python green
GTS Interior package with red stitching
Yellow dials
Miami blue seat belts
...and the centre of the seats in orange leather

Beautiful rofl

Honestly speaking, green paint and red stitching would look ....... hurl

Looks brilliant. This is the only colour tempting me away from lava orange on my Boxster order!

I always find coloured dials hard to read at a glance. I don't mind colour, as long as it doesn't affect the legibility. Yellow dials in a Ferrari are nice!

The rest of it though, go for it. It's your car.

However if it were my car, I think 'anything with green should never be seen'. So I'd keep the rest of it neutral, maybe a bit of green deviated stitching but certainly no secondary colours.
