I've just received a letter from Pollock Fairbridge Schiavone Solicitors about a Parking Charge Notice from May 2017. It is for my car, but I have no idea who was driving at the time. I've checked back through my files and indeed received a Notice to Keeper about that time - but nothing since then. I can't even remember what I did about the NTK.

It is a car park I use regularly and always pay to use it - it's not expensive and is well located - so don't understand what has happened here. The only possible reason I can think of for me not to pay is if the pay machines were both out of action, which sometimes happens. When this has happened in the past I've taken photos of the machines, but can't find any at the moment.

Not sure what my next step should be - I am in Scotland. Any thoughts? It's a hell of a long delay and I've not moved house in the intervening period.

The best thing to do is go to pepipoo website, and money supermarket forum >motoring>parking tickets, fines parking, do not at any time admit you were the driver at the time of the alleged offence, and remember they have issued you with an invoice not a fine!!!.
Review what the site tell you and follow the instructions, but you will be expected to do the defence etc yourself with their help/guidance and good luck.

OP At the moment if the parking was in Scotland then POFA 2012 does not apply and they can only chase the driver NOT the RK So if you do not say who was driving and point out that it is the driver they should chase and you are under no obligsation to tell them they are up the creek
However check with pepipoo on the latest postion as i think the law may soon be changing to chase the RK

I am pretty certain that if the location of parking and the RK are both in Scotland then the above applies

I am not so sure if is still applies if the driver is not a Scottish resident

OR if the location is in England and the RK lives in Scotland
