Travellers Site Raid to disrupt Organised Crime Gang

For those who think nothing is ever done about these scum.
Orpington, Star Lane Traveller site, raided this morning by hundreds of officers, armed units, TSG, local SNT officers plus various other support units to deal with OCG involved with dealing guns, drugs and slavery. Quite a few (17) possibly stolen dogs found too.
Flash bangs used to assist in gaining access and control. and disrupting their very sophisticated security measures. Site has been there 30 years.
Multiple arrests. No doubt Sophie Khan will be hot footing it to scene.

About time too!
I have nothing against the true Gypsy community and their chosen way of life, but there are many of these so called travellers who are nothing other than transient scum.
I hope this, alongside the proposed new Law, will put a stop to the lawless behaviour including breaking into private and public land to set up camp and leaving the landowners and community to pick up the cost of clearing up the mess left behind.

Anyway, I doubt this will be rolled out across the country as the resources outside of London just aren't there so, whilst the headlines look like the Govt are getting control of this, the reality on the ground up and down the land, is they get away with so called low level crime, that the local Police cannot and will not, follow up but meanwhile the traveller scum continue with their 'lifestyle'!
