We get a lot of dung/droppings/poo/whatever you want to call it in our garden that looks like this, it is about 10-15mm in diameter and ~50mm long.

I’ve have wondered what is leaving them before, but recently a pigeon fly into our windows and killed itself, I threw the body into the dyke at the bottom of the garden, a couple of days later, it had gone, something had taken it. I am now wondering if what took the pigeon is what is laying cable in the garden.

Thoughts?

Foxes round here leave really dark poo, darker than the photo above.

It does look a lot like geese, but it is only ever left at night and I have never seen any geese around here.

Reading that like, it is closest to Fox, but I can’t obviously see any fur or bones in it, and I am not about to go poking around in it! hehe

What would a cat make of Fox poo? Ours does even register it is there.

Depends on what they eat surely?

Wild fox poo is nothing like most urban fox poo in my very limited experience.

Cat probably won't react, a dog will roll in it and then eat it and look happy.

Not fox, some kind of bird. Seen some pigeon poo look surprisingly similar.

We live smack in the middle of Nottingham

Was not expecting to see this chap on the cameras (bottom right):

And then, just a few seconds later

Not checked for poo yet.
