Finding the handbrake a pain to use as my hand doesn't really fit under it when it's off..

Is there any way to raise it so it sits slightly higher when disengaged?

Cheers

The handbrake lever is bolted to the top chassis rail using one M8 pivot bolt and one M6 bolt securing the ratchet mechanism.
Undo the M6 bolt securing the ratchet blade and lift the lever to where you want it.
Measure how far the blade has moved.
Make a drop link out of 3mm steel plate and bolt it to the blade. To bolt the drop link to the chassis you will need a stack of washers (equal to the thickness of the ratchet blade plus a longer bolt.
