My wife is going to be taking a career break and we are thinking about something that she can do from home on a flexible basis. Depending on whether or not it's a success will likely dictate whether or not she returns to the 9-5 grind. We have no plans to make millions, but something to give her a reasonable income would be good.

I was thinking about private label on Amazon FBA but I fear we have missed the boat on this. I'm happy to be told otherwise. My wife is from China so can converse with Chinese suppliers if necessary.

I'm a software developer so I can whip up a website if required.

I'm also acutely aware that everyone seems to be trying to do this at the moment, which is likely to be make things difficult.

Happy to hear any suggestions!

Thanks.

Based on the recent Chinglish thread here and a friends wife being a Chinese/English translator, I’d say there must be money in approaching Chinese companies to show where they’re going wrong, use a small example and guarantee to have their sites/eBay stores/goods written into ‘proper’ form?

I’m getting many requests to help “do FBA” when I ask what they are selling typically they don’t know. Things are changing hence I’ve just set up a live demo of how Amazon will shaft you on FBA unless you trade as a brand. If you want a chat about it happy to help.

There is still money to be made via the FBA route. Care just needs to be taken with regards to understanding the various pitfalls, and of course, buying at the right price (I'm surprised how many people overlook this as the most important thing!)

I’m doing a series of FBA TikToks on how Amazon can screw you over, it’s going well and Amazon are very true to form acting as expected and indeed screwing me over within the nature of the demonstration.

I've been following your TikTok career since the beginning - much prefer the latest content to the earlier egg content biggrin.

As someone at the beginning of their FBA journey, I've found your videos and the advice you've given in various threads, extremely helpful. Thank you.
