Has anyone bought their car from Lex?

I looked at buying my current leased car from Alphabet, but the price they wanted had increased 40% since they first quoted me 2-3 months ago
At least ask Lex for a quote and see what they say. If it’s steep, you can walk away.
Can you work off the previous quote...?At least ask Lex for a quote and see what they say. If it’s steep, you can walk away.
Or was that you purchasing before the end of the term.
I was at the end of my 24 month term.
The initial 17k quote to purchase was only valid for 28 days until the end of July. I opted to extend the lease instead.
When I requoted a couple of weeks ago, cost to purchase was up to 24k.
There was no option to use the earlier quote, and when I questioned the rise, I was told the market has improved and so the car is worth more. I expected a cost rise, but not so much!

Unprecedented market conditions mind. The initial 17k quote to purchase was only valid for 28 days until the end of July. I opted to extend the lease instead.

Was the 17k competitive compared to what forecourt prices were at the time?
