Just my view of a new pair of boots I have bought. May be of interest for others in the future.

I have Supertech R and Sidi Vortice boots both very comfy but not waterproof and having been caught out a few times over the past few years I wanted to look into investing in a good quality set of boot that don't leak like a bi.tch when touring.

Reason for going for the mid length boot was most of my touring has been after a long flight such as the US. i wanted something that was firstly waterproof, but also not to bulky if I wanted to put into my luggage. And with my textiles they will cover enough of the boots to keep my legs and shins to keep the water out.
Also from my research Daytona boots seem to have a great following, reviews and seem to last when looked after. Ok they may not look as good as my other riding boots, I wanted something that fits my criteria waterproof and good quality over looks.

Only bought them last week but after 200 miles or so of riding today I wanted to give a little feedback.
Like all new boots they feel strange when I first put them on and the laces are different but seem to be easy to use and allow the boot to mould to my feet well.
Once on the bike they feel very comfy, secure and I was impressed with just how well the sole soaks up the vibrations from the sold pegs I have on my H2.
I've yet to test the waterproofness of them but have no reason to think they won't do the job I bought them for.

If your looking for a good set of mid length boots for all weather I would recommend trying these boots.
The only negative feedback is the lack of local dealers so stock Daytona boots in the south west. So I had to buy the boots without trying on. which I normally like to do before buying. And have been looking at the last few NEC bike shows for Daytona boots but seems not many dealers stock a good range off these boots. So bough from a large online retailing store in the UK

Will try and give feedback as the miles are added to these boots over the coming months etc..
