Can anyone suggest a replacement for this as it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I can get Solvol Autosol, but that is a bit abrasive for a lot of jobs, especially when my father gets hold of it and can do a surprising amount of damage.

This Autosol liquid one isn't as abrasive as the paste/tube version:

Use AG Super resin polish, its very mildly abrasive & works well. I use it as a very gentle rubbing compound.

I second Peek. Very good stuff. I bought some after reading some reviews on Auto Express or something similar.

Old fashioned Brasso would be my second choice after Autosol became so pricey. frown

There’s lot of the Autosol liquid on eBay
